Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici could give Antonio Conte green light to land £17m star

The Daily Express says Tottenham Hotspur chief Fabio Paratici could allow Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie to become the first new signing of the Antonio Conte era. The United States midfielder was regularly linked with a move to North London in the summer, as the Serie A giants were looking to offload some of their supposed dead wood in the transfer window.

However, the dynamic playmaker has surprisingly emerged as a regular starter under Massimiliano Allegri in the new season.

He has started Juventus’ last five Serie A matches, scoring back-to-back goals in their respective 2-1 defeats against Sassulo and Hellas Verona.
