Official Harry Potter store opening in New York City

ScreenRant says an official Harry Potter store will open in New York City this summer.NYC to get Harry potter store

Warner Bros announced the creation of the first US Potter flagship store on Thursday. The store will be located near the iconic Flatiron building and will span three floors. It will feature the largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise, including items that will be exclusive to New York City. 

Some of the merchandise includes wands, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans and personalised robes.

Nicholas Hoult joins the next Mission Impossible movie

Empire reports Nicholas Hoult is the latest addition to the next Mission: Impossible film – many of them announced by Nick Hoult joins Mission Impossiblethe film’s writer and director via social media. 

It’s unclear what role Hoult will play in the film though current chatter is that he’ll be playing a villain. 

Director Christopher McQuarrie is actually making the next two Mission: Impossible films – though it’s not known if Hoult will be in both.

Justin Bieber confirms he has Lyme Disease – ‘it’s been a rough couple of years’

WTX News reports pop star Justin Bieber has confirmed he was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease. And he sufferedbieber battles lyme disease from a chronic viral infection over 2019. 

Bieber said he was aware of speculation that he had a drug problem after pictures emerged of him looking unwell with blotches on his skin.

The 25-year-old confirmed more details will be revealed via his upcoming YouTube docuseries – Seasons.

Golden Globes 2020: Ricky reclaims his throne and Brits triumph

WTX News says Ricky Gervais returned to host the 77th Golden Globe Awards for the fifth (and final) time on Sunday golden globes 2020night, and as predicted it was brutally honest.

“You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything,” he told the audience during his opening monologue. “You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.” 

When Gervais first hosted the award show in 2010, his cutting comments and clever sarcastic style became a masterclass for future hosts. This year’s opening monologue is a reminder of the important role comedians play: ridiculing those who believe they are above ridicule.

Sky News reports BAFTA is reviewing its voting process after criticism over the lack of diversity in its nominations.BAFTA to review voting process after diversity backlash

In all acting categories, the nominees are white and no women moviemakers have been shortlisted for best director or got a nod in the best film section. 

The head of the academy’s film committee Marc Samuelson told Variety there will be a “careful and detailed review within and outside the membership.”
