The Guardian – Unite launches ‘red wall’ push for more radical Labour policies

Labour’s biggest union backer is launching a grassroots campaign in industrial constituencies across the UK demanding more radical policies on energy, steel and green jobs, The Guardian reports.

The union is launching campaigns in the “red wall” seats aimed at “stoking public pressure” on Labour.

Sharon Graham tells the paper that funding earmarked for the party will instead be used to demand “more radical policies on energy, steel and green jobs.”

The front page leads with a large image of Russell Brand along with the headline: “TV chiefs investigate Brand allegations.”
