Jamal Edwards, 31, died from heart attack caused by taking recreational drugs
The Metro says Jamal Edwards died from a heart attack after taking drugs following a night DJing, his mother Brenda Edwards has confirmed.
The Loose Women star, who held her son as he died in February aged 31, admitted she is still in a state of shock since discovering his cause of death and warned of the dangers of ‘extremely unpredictable’ substances in a statement shared on Instagram.
‘Since I last spoke, I have sadly learned that the cause of Jamal’s devastating passing was due to cardiac arrythmia caused by having taken recreational drugs and I wanted to address this myself to everyone who loved, admired and respected my son,’ she penned.
Brenda admitted she is still trying to process her son’s death.
