The Guardian says specialist guards have been deployed in a Worchester prison after ten prisoners caused staff to retreatLong Lartin prison: Inmates take over wing at high-security jail from a wing of HMP Long Lartin. Staff were attacked with pool balls and one officer went to the hospital after indirectly sustaining an injury in the incident. A specialist unit of officers – known as a Tornado Team, have been sent to the category A prison in an attempt to restore order. A Ministry of Justice spokeswoman said: “Specialist staff have been deployed to manage an ongoing incident at HMP Long Lartin. We are absolutely clear that prisoners who behave in this way will be punished and face extra time behind bars.”

MURDER PROBE LAUNCHED AS MAN DIES ON WEST LONDON TUBE AFTER BEING REPEADTELY STABBED

The Daily Mail says a man has been murdered in front of horrified commuters on a rush-hour tube train in west LondonMurder probe launched as man dies on west London platform after being repeatedly stabbed . The victim was attacked at Hillingdon station shortly before 4 pm. And pronounced dead at the scene. He is the 113th person to be murdered in the capital so far this year. No arrests have been made. Officers are trying to establish the exact timeline of events and will examine CCTV footage on board the train and from the platform in a bid to identify the killer. A Detective Superintendent of British Transport Police said: “This was a shocking act of violence which has seen a man tragically lose his life this afternoon.”

PARLIAMENT: MPS AND PEERS RETURN AFTER COURT RULES SHUTDOWN UNLAWFUL
