US Capitol Attack: 430 arrested

US Capitol Attack: 430 arrested

More than 430 people have been arrested for their connection with the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, a senior Justice Department official told lawmakers. Adding the number of arrests continues to grow. 

The number of arrests represents more than half of the estimated 800 supporters of former president Donald Trump who breached the Capitol in an attempt to stop Congress from declaring Joe Biden as the winner of the November presidential election.
