TRUMP FAN SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS FOR SENDING PIPE BOMBS TO DEMOCRATS
CNN reports, Trump supporter Cesar Sayoc has been sentenced to 20 years behind bars for sending pipe bombs to Democrats and Trump critics. The 57-year-old had sent pipe bombs to CNN, they confirmed.
Charged with 65 felony counts Mr Sayoc had sent 13 IEDs in October last year. He had targeted the likes of Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, Robert DeNiro and major Democratic donors such as George Soros.
Mr Sayoc said he fully accepted responsibility. He mentioned he had endured sexual abuse whilst at Catholic school and added he has dyslexia, phobias and PTSD. Speaking on what Mr Sayoc had experienced his attorney asked for leniency and wrote: “In this darkness, Mr Sayoc found light in Donald J Trump.”

NORTH KOREA SAY THE US IS STIRRING UP MILITARY TENSION
France 24 reports, North Korea has accused the US of “inciting military tension” by holding joint military exercises with South Korea. A North Korean Diplomat said the Capital will take measures to defend itself. He said whilst the US and South Korea have tried to justify the military exercise they cannot hide “its aggressive nature.”
“What is more serious is that the United States is inciting military tension hostile to the DPRK by deploying a large amount of latest offensive military hardware in South Korea in disregard of its commitment to suspend joint military exercises made at summit level.”
In response, North Korea needed to “develop, test and deploy the powerful physical means essential for our national defence.” He said.
Kim Jong Un has said Tuesday’s missile launches were a warning to the US and South Korea.

JAPAN HEATWAVE: 57 DEAD, 18,000 HOSPITALISED
RT News says Japan’s relentless heatwave has now killed 57 people and more than 18,000 people have been hospitalised since 29 July. The startling figures were released by the government showing that the number of people who have been hospitalised has tripled from the previous week.
Tokyo had the highest amount of people hospitalised and those aged 65 and over accounted for 54% of those hospitalised.

Aljazeera reports, following India’s decision to strip Kashmir of its special status Aljazeera says critics are calling the move a ‘constitutional coup.’
In Indian-administered Kashmir, the revoking of Article 370 has sparked two very different emotions. Hindu Kashmiris are celebrating the decision with one man describing it as a sort of “rebirth.” Another Kashmiri, belonging to the Muslim community said he felt “a sort of pain” in his heart, adding: “It is like something has been amputated from my body.”
