EL PASO SHOOTER’S MOTHER WARNED POLICE WEEKS PRIOR TO SHOOTING
RT News reports, it has been claimed the mother of the El Paso shooter warned police weeks ago about her son owning a gun. The mother of the shooter, who killed 22 people, expressed concerns that her son was not mature enough to own an “AK” firearm. His lack of experience with firearms was also a concern for his mother.
The mother spoke to a public safety officer over her concerns but was told from the description she gave, he was allowed to legally buy the weapons.
The shooter had only three minor incidents with the police prior to the shootings. A false burglar alarm, a minor incident on a school bus and him running away from home in 2014.

EGYPTIAN SECURITY FORCES KILL 17 ‘TERRORISTS’
France 24 reports, Egyptian security forces killed 17 suspected terrorists on Thursday. The operation killed those believed to be involved in last weekend’s deadly car blast in Cairo. They believe the 17 killed belonged to the Hasm group which is part of the banned Muslim Brotherhood.
Last weekend’s terrorist attack involved a collision between several cars, one was loaded with explosives. The car packed with explosives drove into oncoming traffic and claimed the lives of 20 people.
The interior ministry said it has identified the driver of the car as a member of Hasm. They believe the group is “behind the preparations of the vehicle” that caused the crash.

19 BODIES FOUND IN MEXICO
Aljazeera reports, police have found the bodies of 19 people in three different locations, including some that were hanging from bridges. On Thursday it was said the incident appeared to be linked to rival drug gangs operating in the area.
It has been said the rival gangs are engaged in a turf war, all fighting for territorial control over the production, distribution and consumption of drugs.
Those found hanging from the bridge had a threatening message printed on a large sheet of plastic next to them. Other bodies were found cut up and abandoned along the road.
Mexico has seen a dramatic rise in organised crime violence in recent years. The Army was sent in to fight organised crime in 2006. However, critics say it only added to the rise in violence. Since the Army’s failed intervention, Mexico has registered over 250,000 murders and a staggering 33,755 last year- a new record.
