The FIFA World Cup 2022 is taking place in Qatar between November 20 and December 18.
The 22nd edition of the World Cup is the first to be held in the Arab world and only the second to be staged in Asia after Japan and South Korea co-hosted the tournament in 2002.
This year’s World Cup also marks the first time ever that the competition has been held in winter instead of summer due to the extreme Qatari heat in the middle of the year.
A total of 32 nations entered the World Cup, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the knock-out stages which start on Saturday, December 3.
The final will be held at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Sunday, December 18.
