The current ‘cozy cardio’ trend as well as trends like hot girl walks and soft hiking, encourage people to work out without putting too much pressure on their bodies and nervous systems.
However, the latest viral fitness challenge, inspired by musician Madonna, looks like a cardio burner.
The Madonna jump squat challenge sees people coping some of the pop star’s famous dance moves during her performance of Music from her 2001 Drowned World Tour.
During her two-hour set, at the age of 43 and wearing heels, Madonna performed 15 jump squats.
TikTokers are giving the challenge a go. From building muscular endurance in your thighs to giving your heart a high-paced workout, this challenge is ideal if you want to add it to a high intensity workout, try it as a finisher after a leg day or simply test your fitness levels.
