Teenage hillwalker found safe after search in Highlands A hillwalker, 17, who was reported missing overnight on a walking trip in the Highlands has been traced safe and well, police say. Isaac Johnson had set off at lunchtime on Saturday from Glen Moidart in Lochaber but did not return as planned. Mountain rescue teams, the coastguard and police were involved in the search. Wales campsite crash: Two in serious condition in hospital A car crash in Pembrokeshire has left two people in a serious condition in hospital. The car crashed into a campsite and hit a tent, where a baby was sleeping. Nine people were injured when the car left the road at Newgale, Pembrokeshire, on Saturday night. The baby in the tent escaped serious injury as it was in a cot, according to the campsite owner. The car went over a ditch, rolled into a tent and over a group of people. Police were called to Paget street on Sunday evening
A man’s body was discovered in the back of a van engulfed in flames in Staffordshire.
Police were called to the blaze in Paget Street, Burton-upon-Trent, at 7.55pm on Sunday by Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The remains were discovered only after the fire had been extinguished.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained, Staffordshire Police said, with a post-mortem examination to be carried out to establish the cause of the man’s death.
Police have asked anyone with footage from the area or information about the incident to contact the force, quoting incident 637 of August 13.
