Adele is all for Megan Thee Stallion having a very merry Christmas following Tory Lanez’s guilty verdict.
The Easy On Me singer sent her love to the Savage rapper while performing her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas, earning rapturous applause from the crowd.
Following a nine-day trial, rapper Lanez was convicted of shooting the WAP performer, born Megan Pete, in July 2020.
She had said the shooting occurred when she left a party in Los Angeles, which left her wounded and needing surgery to remove bullet fragments from her feet.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office previously announced in a statement that Lanez pleaded not guilty but, following Friday’s verdict, he now faces more than 20 years in prison.
Taking to the stage in high spirits at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this weekend, Hello hitmaker Adele said: ‘I want to wish Meg Thee Stallion a very, very Merry, Merry Christmas.’
In a video captured by a fan in the audience, she continued: ‘Girl, get your peace. Do what you want now baby. Love you!’
This isn’t the first time Adele has shown that she’s a fan of Megan’s.
Earlier this year, her song Water Under The Bridge went viral on TikTok when fans realised it worked perfectly with a video of Megan dancing.
And while she’s made it known she isn’t a massive TikTok fan, Adele clearly had been keeping up with the trends, as she only went and did the dance live on stage.

Performing in Hyde Park, the packed crowd went wild as the Grammy-winning star showcased some subtle moves, with Megan herself also dubbing her ‘Hot Girl Adele’.
Megan is yet to publicly comment on the verdict of Lanez, but she took the stand in court earlier this week and became emotional as she recalled the alleged incident.
On the second day of the trial, she told the court through tears: ‘I’m having a really difficult time sitting up here telling my story and having to sit across [from] people who have made up lies about me and having to [sit] across from Tory.

‘I try to be strong. I don’t like to look weak. I don’t want to give them the power that they’ve taken from me for the last three years,’ she continued, as reported People Magazine.
‘Not a day goes by without being called a liar. This whole thing is about who I was having sex with, not who shot me, and I don’t know why.’
When Kathy Ta asked her to discuss her career before the alleged incident, Megan explained that she initially didn’t want to say anything out of embarrassment and fears for how the public would perceive her.
‘I just did a song with Beyoncé, and now she knows I got shot,’ she continued.

‘I just did something I’ve always wanted, and now it’ll be overshadowed…. This situation has been worse for me while he’s more popular – I’ve turned into a type of villain while he’s a hero.
‘I can’t even be happy… I don’t want to talk to friends or family.
‘I don’t want to live. I wish he had just shot and killed me if I had to go through this torture.’
