Tegan Nox has returned to WWE just over a year after getting released.
The Girl With the Shiniest Wizard had a difficult time with the company the first time round, showing her immense talent but suffering setbacks with a history of knee injuries.
Now, she has another chance after making a comeback on SmackDown to try and save Liv Morgan from Damage CTRL.
The numbers game initially proved too much even after Nox raced down to the ring to help the former SmackDown Women’s Champion in a brawl with Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai.
However, Liv grabbed a kendo stick and started swinging, giving Nox an opening to hit the Shiniest Wizard on Bayley as they stood tall.
Although she proved popular with fans on SmackDown alongside tag team partner Shotzi, Nox was fired by WWE in November 2021 as part of widespread roster cuts seen during the pandemic.

Earlier this year, the Welsh star speculated that her exit was down to not fitting the direction she thought the company – then led by Vince McMahon – appeared to be going in.
‘I just didn’t fit in the demographic is my true belief. Nothing to do with budget cuts. I just didn’t fit the look or the idea of what they wanted for their female wrestlers,’ she told The Danger Zone w/ Chris Denker.
There’s no word on exactly why Nox was cut, outside of it coming during widespread trimmings of the roster during a strange couple of years.
Now, she’s back with WWE itself under a new regime with Triple H – real name Paul Levesque – serving as chief content officer, and overseeing both creative and talent relations.
Under his charge, several stars released over the past couple of years have been brought back, including Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross and Scarlett, Bray Wyatt, Dexter Lumis and more.
WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
