‘TATE PUSHER’ UNMASKED 

The Daily Mail says the teenager accused of throwing a 6-year-old boy from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern has been identified. Jonty Bravery is alleged to have snatched the boy from his mother’s arms and thrown his off the 10th-floor balcony. The victim was a French tourist visiting London with his family. He survived, but his family reveal he cannot speak, move or eat properly. Bravery, from west London, can now be identified as he has turned 18. And is charged with attempted murder. He will face a two-week trial in February.

REVEALED: JENNIFER ARCURI GOT VISA FROM SCHEME RUN BY FORMER JOHNSON OFFICIAL

The Guardian exclusively reveals a Whitehall official who ran the scheme that granted Jennifer Arcuri a converted entrepreneur visa had worked for Boris Johnson when he was mayor. Arcuri is at the centre of a conflict of interest row over her friendship with the PM. At the time she beat nearly 2,000 applicants to gain one of 200 sought-after tier 1 visas. And Johnson had helped her firm, Innotech, by giving keynote speeches at her events. A whistleblower told the paper: “Innotech stood out compared to other startups in the programme, which had a much higher potential to scale up…I could not understand why we were giving so much attention and extra funds to Innotech.”

MEGHAN SUES MAIL ON SUNDAY OVER PRIVATE LETTER

BBC News reports the Duchess of Sussex has begun legal action against the Mail on Sunday. It comes after a claim that it unlawfully published one of her private letters. In a statement, Prince Harry said: “I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.” The Duke of Sussex said he and Meghan were forced to take action against “relentless propaganda.” A Mail on Sunday spokesman said they stand by the story they published and would defend the case “vigorously.” But the law firm acting for the Duchess accused the paper of a campaign of false, derogatory stories. And has filed a High Court claim against the paper and its parent company over alleged misuse of private information.
