Trump, who is facing charges related to alleged hush-money payments made to women who claimed to have had affairs with him, made a bold move in court on Friday.

The former US President called for the gag order on speaking about witnesses to be lifted, arguing that it was impeding his ability to defend himself.

As jury selection entered its fourth day, Trump’s legal team pushed for more transparency in the trial proceedings. They argued that the gag order was preventing them from fully presenting their case and that it was unfair to restrict their ability to speak openly about the witnesses involved.

Trump’s call to lift the gag order comes as the trial continues to garner national attention. The former President’s legal troubles have been a major focus in the media, with many speculating on the potential implications for his political future.

As the trial moves forward, all eyes will be on the courtroom to see how this latest development plays out in this box office criminal trial.

Will the court grant Trump’s request to lift the gag order, or will the restrictions remain in place? Only time will tell as the hush-money trial continues to unfold.
