The Traitors cast enjoyed Christmas day with their loved ones as they enjoyed a day of rest after that nail-biting finale.
The BBC show, presented by Claudia Winkleman, saw a trio of Traitors attempt to ‘murder’ the Faithfuls, who in turn attempted to ‘banish’ the deceivers to win a cash prize of up to £120,000.
Traitors Wilfred Webster and Kieran Tompsett, as well as Faithfuls Aaron Evans, Hannah Byczkowski and Meryl Williams, made it to the final roundtable – and chaos ensued.
Having sensed Wilfred, who had turned on banished Traitors Amanda Lovett and Alyssa Chan, would also do the dirty on him, Kieran effectively fell on his sword and gave the remaining Faithfuls his ‘parting gift.’
Kieran’s cryptic clues and glances at Wilfred made Hannah, Aaron and Meryl believe he was potentially a Traitor, opting to banish him in the final moments and ultimately winning the show.
But after Shakespearean levels of psychodrama, the cast were able to kick back and relax on Christmas Day – although Wilfred joked he may not be receiving a visit from Father Christmas after his stint on the programme.

‘Everyone have an amazing Christmas and I hope Santa gives you everything you want! Hope he’s not too scared of being stabbed in the back and still comes to mine 😂🧡.’
Maddy, who dubbed herself Maddy Marple after her hilarious sleuthing skills on The Traitors, beamed with a festive drink as she tucked into a roast dinner with plenty of parsnips in a conservatory.

Amanda, who has five children and five grandchildren, shared a picture beaming with her ‘first two born my boys’, while Meryl played a card game version of The Traitors with her family.
Meanwhile, Aaron tucked into a huge roast dinner with his beloved mum, although questioned having a huge garlic bulb on top of his plate.
The 24-year-old also went to the sea with his pals, despite the chilly weather, and took a Christmas dip.

In the New Year, there’s hopefully more The Traitors to come with the BBC is said to be planning a celebrity version.
A TV insider has claimed that the broadcaster is ‘thrilled’ with how much love there has been for the show, and that a spin-off with stars would be ‘a natural next step’.
‘Viewers will get to see different sides of some big names as they try to manipulate others or uncover the truth about fellow players,’ they told The Daily Mirror.
