Setteville, the town that remains without policemen: all failed the first written test of the competition

Impossible to find a traffic policeman in Setteville, in the Belluno area. None of the candidates were able to even pass the first test of the competition. The Municipality had banned it in September, 23 of them applied, five showed up, but no one was able to pass the first written test.

The exam consisted of the drafting of an investigation or a resolution or determination scheme or another administrative act, and in a series of open and multiple choice questions.

All too difficult for the candidates: no one achieved the necessary score to pass the test. However, we will have to find a traffic policeman for Setteville, in the town – the administration explains – we need a permanent figure.

“We are trying to understand if we can draw from other rankings – said the disconsolate mayor Bruno Zanolla – perhaps from the Treviso area”. Because the administration cares about safety and decorum, it even intends to strengthen the video surveillance system. But he doesn’t find anyone who will then monitor him. For now the Municipality has to settle for “neighborhood control” and the collaboration of citizens.
