What time is PMQs?
MPs are set to quiz PM Boris Johnson for a second time at 12, like usual PMQs will start with a statement from the PM which kicks off a trade-off between the PM and the leader of the opposition Sir Keir Starmer.
PMQs usually last around 30 minutes. It’ll be the PM’s second appearance in the House of Commons for the week – having appeared last evening to address the partygate scandal.
Yesterday the PM made a scheduled apology to UK lawmakers and the public for being fined by the Met Police after their investigation concluded that gatherings held at Number 10 had broken lockdown rules.
The PM, his wife Carrie Johnson and chancellor Rishi Sunak all received fines. Others did as well but they have not been publicly named.
The Prime Minister made a brief statement to MPs in which he officially addressed the penalty.
What’s top of the agenda for PMQs this week?
We’re expecting the Partygate fines, Ukraine and the government’s controversial Rwanda asylum plan to dominate this week’s PMQs.
