Piers Morgan has had his say after he featured in the trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix documentary and, shockingly, he’s not happy.
Who could have guessed?
The presenter has made no secret of his disapproval of the pair, famously storming out of the Good Morning Britain studio after an argument with Alex Beresford over the Duchess of Sussex.
His voice now features in a trailer for the documentary, which focuses on how public opinion towards Meghan seemingly changed very suddenly.
The beginning of the trailer shows her quick rise to popularity after it was announced that she and Harry were engaged.
A US news anchor is heard saying: ‘You hear that? That’s the sound of hearts breaking all around the world.’
Piers goes on to add: ‘She’s becoming a royal rockstar’.
The tone then changes, with Harry saying: ‘The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy…’
Meghan adds: ‘I realised, “They’re never gonna protect you.”‘
Piers has responded to the trailer, saying: ‘BREAKING: Princess Pinocchio & Prince Hypocrite use my voice to flog their ghastly new series. I’m traumatised by this exploitation.’
He has often criticised the royal couple, including after the first trailer for the documentary was released.

Re-sharing the trailer posted by the Netflix Twitter account on his own profile, he remarked: ‘OMG. This is already vomit-inducing,’ alongside a row of vomiting emojis.
He then added in a follow-up tweet: ‘Imagine bleating about privacy then doing a kiss-and-tell reality series about your private lives? Then imagine preaching compassion as you trash your family again?
‘Then imagine releasing 1st trailer deliberately to ruin your brother’s big trip to America? Repulsive hypocrites.’

In August, Meghan spoke to The Cut about what viewers can expect from the documentary, which will hit Netlix in two parts, on December 8 and December 15.
She explained that it would shine a spotlight on her relationship with her husband.
‘The piece of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see, is our love story,’ she said.
In September 2020, after stepping down as senior working members of the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a multi-million dollar deal with the streaming platform.
The deal involved working with the company to create a variety of productions, including scripted shows, documentaries and children’s programmes, in collaboration with their own company, Archewell Productions.
Harry & Meghan: A Global Event, volume one, will hit Netflix on December 8.
