Peter Kay has announced there will be even more dates on his massive comeback tour.
The acclaimed comedian, whose massive comeback tour has recently kicked off and is set to go on well into 2024, shared the news on Thursday evening,
Speaking on Sara Cox’s drivetime show on BBC Radio 2, the 49-year-old said he was ‘so thankful’ to fans who had bought tickets so far, and to those who came to his first gig in Manchester.
He then confirmed extra dates will be announced for Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow and ‘many more,’ as well as an extra night for the London residency.
Tickets will go on sale on Sunday at 10am and start at £35.
Peter had teased the ‘big announcement’ earlier this week, saying in a statement that ‘everybody deserves a bit of joy.’

It comes after fans were sent into a frenzy trying to get tickets for his comeback shows in arenas across the UK, which mark his first live stand-up performances in 12 years.
The tour began a few days ago in Manchester, with dates set to span all the way through the next two years, including a landmark residency at London’s O2 Arena.

Peter had been moved to tears at his first stand-up show, with crowds giving him rapturous applause and minutes-long standing ovation as he walked onto the stage for the first time in over a decade.
Naturally it proved an emotional moment for Peter, who was moved to tears as he told the crowd: ‘You’ll have me in bits.’
‘Lovely Manchester, you made me cry. I can’t believe I cried, where did it come from all that emotion?’ he asked.

Peter had announced his comeback tour during an ad break for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last month, after stepping away from the limelight due to personal reasons.
The tour is aptly named Better Late Than Never and marks his first since 2010, when Peter earned the Guinness World Record for the biggest-selling run of all time, playing to more than 1.2million people.
As well as promising fans a great night out, Peter also vowed to keep tickets as cheap as possible amid the cost of living crisis.

‘It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now,’ he said at the time.
‘And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010.’
