Paris shocked by horror murder of Lola, 12
Parisians are shocked by the horrific murder of a 12-year-old girl whose body was found in a container in the courtyard of her apartment building, on Friday.
The girl, 12, named Lola had spent the day at school, and when she failed to return home, her father called the police.
Later in the evening, a transparent plastic box containing her body was found at the foot of the building in the 19th arrondissement.
Lola’s dad is employed as a concierge in the residential block.
Her hands and feet were tied and it has been reported that she had a gash to her neck. An autopsy has determined that she died of asphyxiation. She was found with two Post-It notes on her feet, one said “O” and the other “1.”
Police have arrested a 24-year-old homeless woman identified as Dahbia B.
The woman was identified via security footage from the building, in which she was seen entering the main door on Friday afternoon in the company of Lola.
She was seen leaving pulling a container and acting incoherently on the street.
Police believe Dahbia B is psychologically unstable and that her act was “gratuitous.”
She is the main suspect in the investigation for murder of a person under 15 years of age, as well as torture and barbarity.
