A nine-month-old girl who was stolen from the streets, triggering a frantic search, has been found.
Delilah Lopez was found safe around 7am on Wednesday, said the Laredo Police Department.
‘The child appears to be unharmed and in good condition,’ wrote the police department on social media.
She was last seen past midnight on East Bustamante Street in the southern Texas city, News4SA reported.
An Amber Alert was issued for her just over two hours after she went missing, around 2.50am. Officials at the time said they believed the baby was in grave or immediate danger.
No arrests were immediately made.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the police department.
