Olivia was not happy when she saw Kai again in the Love Island villa (Picture: ITV/Shutterstock)
She might have walked back into the Love Island villa with a new man on her arms, but Olivia Hawkins’ takedown of Kai Fagan has seen her under fire from viewers.
On Thursday night Casa Amor was no more and it was time for the recoupling, and many did not disappoint.
While Kai, 24, said he faced a ‘very tough decision’ when choosing to couple up with Sanam Harrinanan, also 24, the teacher said he hoped Olivia, 27, had found a connection in the days they spent apart.
However, although she walked back in with Maxwell Samuda, 23, Olivia immediately let loose.
‘It’s very telling, and I can’t say I’m shocked,’ she said when asked by host Maya Jama about him recoupling.
‘Missing me already? Clearly not enough,’ she added.
‘After a couple of days apart I could tell what is genuine and what isn’t…and I think I’ve got a real genuine now,’ Kai retorted.

Things have fallen apart between Olivia and Kai (Picture: Shutterstock)
Olivia didn’t miss her chance to jump in and told Kai everything he’d told her were ‘lies’.
People watching along at home weren’t having any of it and called out her double standards.
‘Why is Olivia being like that? She literally recouped too,’ one person pointed out on Twitter.
Another said she was making ‘cheeky comments’ while having another man on her arm.
‘Olivia you walk in with someone else then act shocked he done the same???,’ another fan added.

Although Kai had earlier said he was ‘very happy’ to have found what he called a ‘genuine connection’, he added he hoped Olivia had found someone too.
But when given a chance to talk again, Olivia took aim.
‘I had a connection in Casa I couldn’t ignore,’ she said.
Then she continued: ‘Max treated me right and he is a lovely boy, and we get on well and have a lot in common. The Casa boys definitely showed me what I was missing, and I am glad I recoupled.’
Kai and Sanam hit it off in Casa Amor (Picture: ITV/Shutterstock)
But things kicked off after Sanam fairly said she was a ‘bit lost for words’ about what was playing out
‘Olivia has been coupled up so I don’t feel like her speech was completely relevant,’ she added.
Not missing her chance to give her two cents Olivia said what was going down was between her and Kai, who then said he wanted to avoid further confrontation.
‘I am happy and you are happy so we don’t have to become bitter,’ he said.
Hearing the word bitter clearly annoyed Olivia who bit back, but Maya then looked taken aback and jumped in to diffuse the situation.
‘Ok ok lets sort this out and you can talk later,’ she said.

The tension came after Olivia forgot her former beau’s name just minutes after walking into Casa Amor last week.
When asked who she was seeing in the villa she temporarily forgot Kai’s name, which obviously left everyone else in hysterics.
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
