Hollywood royalty Meryl Streep is the latest star joining the Only Murders In The Building madness alongside Paul Rudd and Jesse Williams.
Executive producer Selena Gomez, who also has a starring role in the acclaimed series, confirmed that season three filming has officially begun.
The ‘who dunnit’ programme follows Mabel, (Selena) Charles (Steve Martin) and Oliver (Martin Short) at the Arconia, a prestigious New York building, as they attempt to solve crimes.
In the video, the Hands To Myself hitmaker, 30, enthused: ‘Hey guys, we’re on set! What are we shooting? Season three!’
‘The gang is back, yay! Could this honestly get any better? Oh wait!’
Selena later turned her phone to Ant-Man star Paul, who said: ‘Well, I do think it could get a little bit better.’
Cue in Queen Meryl, who popped up behind the sofa and asked Steve and Marty if they needed anything.
Little is known about the Miranda Priestly star’s role in the series, and what link she has to the golden trio, but we can’t wait to find out.

Naturally fans were over the moon over the announcement, with one writing: ‘NOT THE QUEEN THE LEGEND MERYL STREEP JOINING ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING I’M SCREAMING.’
Another added: I didn’t have Meryl Streep joining Only Murders in the Building on my bingo card. Man oh man. I’m beyond excited. Can’t wait for the new season already.
‘Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd and Jesse Williams joining OMITB, season 3 is going to be epic,’ a third person enthused.
The official plot and cast list have not been shared, with an air date yet to be announced.
OMITB have had some pretty iconic guest stars over the last two seasons, including Amy Schumer, Cara Delevingne and actual Sting playing himself – and Marvel star Paul was confirmed to be joining the cast in spectacular fashion.
He made his debut as Ben Glenroy at the end of the episode, nabbing a starring role in Oliver’s new play with co-star Charles, but it was clear that the pair were not getting on.

Series co-creator John Hoffman has now confirmed that Paul will be a prominent part of the upcoming episodes.
A statement shared with Variety read: ‘Paul Rudd, after making an auspicious entrance into the world of our show at the end of Season 2 as Ben Glenroy, is someone we clearly want to know more about and see in our upcoming Season 3 — as he is a clear source of many upcoming questions and, as ever with our show, many twists yet to come!’
Only Murders in the Building is available to stream on Hulu and Disney Plus.
