Holly Willoughby has discussed what it’s like to be a parent to children who are ‘suddenly blooming.’
The Wylde Moon founder shares children Harry, 13, Belle, 11, Chester, eight, with Celebrity Juice producer Dan Baldwin.
Speaking ahead of This Morning’s Christmas edition, which she will co-host with Phillip Schofield, 60, on the bid fay itself, Holly, 41, opened up about the coming year.
The 41-year-old explained: ‘Looking ahead to next year, as I’m sure any parent would say that with every year brings new challenges, but the flip side of that is that you’re watching these little humans grow and develop and become fully formed people.
‘I think I’m just looking forward to what’s next to come with them and seeing who they are turning out to be.
She continued: ‘My oldest is 13 now and the relationship changes hugely. You know, they sit at the table with you and you are talking about things that aren’t just about what they got up to at school that day, it’s about how they view and see the world and I’m really enjoying it.
‘I’m enjoying this phase and seeing all those things that you put in place throughout their early childhood years, suddenly blooming and I can’t wait for more of that and just being a bit of a spectator with a helping hand.’
In an adorable move, Holly skipped an earlier episode of the daytime chat show to watch her son, Chester’s, school nativity play.
Phil told viewers: ‘You may notice that someone is missing. That’s because Holly is busy doing something that parents up and down the country can relate to.’

Speaking to the veteran TV presenter via video link outside of Chester’s school, Holly said she was ‘very excited’ to see her son perform.
Holly explained the show would be kicking off at 10.15am and featured a festive cast of characters including gingerbread men and ‘Clarence the camel’, with Chester bagging the role of Father Christmas.

‘It’s all going off,’ she explained, before adding that she was ‘ready to have a cry. It’s very emotional.’
