Prince Harry faced off against Meghan Markle in a game of table tennis in a new trailer for the Invictus Games.
The dramatic black and white video released this afternoon shows athletes taking part in table tennis against each other inside a huge stadium.
The Prince – who is the founder of the Invictus Games – can see seen having a hit against various competitors.
In the final scenes of the video Meghan taps her paddle, urging her husband to serve before it cuts to the closing credits.
To promote tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies going on sale today, the Invictus Games’ social media team shared the video on Twitter – where it was promptly reposted by Finding Freedom co-writer Omid Scobie.
The moody black-and-white clip opens with a view of an unused table tennis table in an empty stadium.
Highlighting how the sport is being been introduced into the event for the first time next year, the video then showed male, female and disabled players competing in several back-to-back games.

The Invictus Games is a very special event for Harry, who founded the Invictus Games to help the rehabilitation of military personnel and veterans by challenging them to compete in sporting events similar to the Paralympics.
The 2023 Invictus Games will be the sixth time that the event has taken place, following games in London (2014), Orlando (2016), Toronto (2017), Sydney (2018) and The Hague (2022).
In 2025, the Invictus Games will also return to North America and take place in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada.
Tickets for the opening ceremony start from just €33 and the majority of seats at the Merkur Spiel-Arena have appeared to have already sold out.
The Invictus Games will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany next year from September 9-16.
