Emma Bunton has apologised to fans as she announced her gig in Birmingham has been cancelled due to illness.
The former Spice Girl had been due to perform in the city on Saturday, but with hours to go before doors open, announced it would not be going ahead.
In a statement, Emma said she was ‘heartbroken’ and felt she had ‘let so many of you down’ as she shared a photo of herself looking downcast.
She wrote: ‘I feel like I have let so many of you down today and it has left me heartbroken.
‘With rest and medication I wake every morning with hope.
‘Birmingham, I am here but unfortunately won’t be able to perform tonight under doctor’s orders.’

She added she was ‘overwhelmed by all the support and love from my fans,’ finishing by saying: ‘Love you all very much.’
Emma was inundated with supportive messages from fans under the announcement, with many saying her health has to come first.
‘You could never let us down,’ one person wrote, adding: ‘we love you no matter what – your health is the most important thing. Sending you lots of love.’
The latest cancellation comes after Emma was forced to cancel Friday’s show in York due to illness, pleading with dfans to accept her ‘sincere apologies.’
‘I have been advised by my doctor that I am unable to perform. I am absolutely devastated and l’ll see you all again very soon.’
She added: ‘I have never in my whole career ever had to cancel a gig and I can’t stop crying. I tried my hardest to make tonight happen. Thank you for all your beautiful messages of support.’

Emma’s tour comes as rumours abound the Spice Girls will be performing at Glastonbury 2023.
The group first split in 2000, leaving fans heartbroken, but they reunited in 2019 for a UK and Ireland tour, without fashion designer Victoria.
Victoria last performed with the band in 2012 at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

However music industry sources claim a performance at Glasto next year is in ‘advanced’ talks, with or without her.
Mel C, 48, has already hinted the Viva Forever chart-toppers could be playing the annual festival, organised by the Eavis family, confessing it would be ‘the dream.’
