Patsy Kensit is smitten after her partner Patric Cassidy’s romantic beach sunset proposal literally had her weak at the knees.
The EastEnders star, 54, shared her big moment via a photo of Patric down on one knee, and a video of her huge (and we mean huge) ring glittering in the fading light alongside the wispy Flamingos track I Only Have Eyes For You.
The star looked the picture of happiness in the video, in which she twinkled her new ring and seemed to joke about its weight by holding up her arm, before shuffling away from the camera and melting to the ground in the middle of a heart of red petals, in which her fiancé proposed to her with an ocean backdrop.
The camera panned around to what was a truly idyllic scene, with beach hut covering a ‘P&P’ sign (their initials), some floor cushions, delicious looking drinks, sumptuous nibbles and a vibrant sunset, which was made more beautiful by the fire torches encircling the area.
It’s not clear where the secret beach location is, but it looks like heaven on earth, and Patsy seemed to think so too, as she looked around and appeared overwhelmed by the romance of the occasion.
The former Emmerdale star captioned the picture with: ‘I said Yes. ❤️❤️❤️❤️’

The actor’s son, 23-year-old Lennon, who she shares with ex-husband and Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher, sweetly commented on the video ‘Love you mum x’.
This comes after Patsy confirmed her departure from her ‘brief stint’ as Emma Harding in Albert Square.
Taking to Instagram to mark the moment, Patsy wrote: ‘Cannot thank my amazing cast members at the simply awesome experience I’ve had working on @eastenders for being so kind and loving to me.’

Patsy and her husband-to-be haven’t been pictured together before, and this display of romance comes after the star said she’d never marry again after divorcing her fourth husband DJ Jeremy Healy.
But it seems the Leathal Weapon 2 star had a change of heart on meeting her property mogul fiancé Patric, after the pair were reportedly introduced via a mutual friend.

Speaking to The Mirror earlier this year, Patsy said: ‘Men become way more interesting in their 50s, which is a revelation to me.’
The pair first got engaged last year after a whirlwind five-week romance, but it seems the deal is now all but sealed with that chunky diamond ring.
