It is being propped and supported by the West and Nato who are using to fight a proxy war against Russia.

It is the second-largest country by area in Europe after Russia. At present, it is pushing for EU and NATO membership to protect it from the threat of Russia with whom it shares its largest border.

Ukraine also shares borders with Belarus to the north; Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary to the west; Romania and Moldova to the south; and has a coastline along the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, which is currently seized and under Russian control.

It has rarely been able to enjoy its Independence, it has had an uprising in the south of the country, who want independence and is currently engaged in a war with Putin’s Russia.

Ukraine has begun using long-range ballistic missiles secretly provided by the US against invading Russian forces, American officials have confirmed. The weapons were part of a $300m aid package approved by Joe Biden in Match and arrived this month.

Seven people are dead in Ukraine’s southern Odesa region and Kharkiv in the northeast as Russian missile strikes hit. An attack that killed four in Odesa late on Wednesday coincided with the city’s liberation from the Nazis during WW2.

The secretary-general of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, has said the US and Europe need each other during a ceremony commemorating NATO’s 75th anniversary. Stoltenberg said that while the US provides security for Europe, it also relies on the military capabilities, intelligence, and diplomatic influence of its European allies.

According to Ukraine’s air force, 31 missiles launched by Russia were intercepted over Kyiv overnight. The attack resulted in at least 17 injuries, including one child, with four individuals currently hospitalised due to falling debris, as reported by authorities.
