Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are one step closer to ending their bitter legal dispute over their Chateau Miraval estate, it has been claimed.
The former couple, who were together for 12 years before announcing their divorce in 2016, have been locked in a huge battle over the business after the Maleficent actress, 48, sold her share.
Shortly after the Fight Club actor, 59, was accused of acting like a ‘petulant child’ in court documents, the pair are thought to be moving forward.
According to DailyMail.com, legal documents were filed last week showing that both Brad and Angelina have agreed to mediation over the property, instead of taking things to court.
As well as this, the mom-of-six has reportedly said she is willing to attend a settlement conference, while her estranged husband has appointed a ‘provisional administrator’ for the sprawling estate in the south of France – 15 years after they purchased it.
The outlet reports that an independent figure will assess the Chateau and hopefully help negotiations between Brad and the subsidiary of the Stoli Group, after Angelina sold her half to boss Yuri Shefler in 2021.

Brangelina made their relationship official in January, 2006, and share children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne together.
They tied the knot in April, 2012, after seven years of dating – but eventually split in 2016, and are still discussing a custody agreement regarding their family.
They initially bought the property together for €25million in 2008, and worked with winemaker Marc Perrin to established an international best-selling rose brand, with court documents obtained by Forbes describing how the rose generated millions in profit.
Years after their split, Angelina sold her share to Yuri, something her ex claims he was notified of the move in a press release, accusing her of trying to keep him ‘in the dark’.

He alleged that he had first refusal on her share, and argued that the sale meant that their brand was linked to Russia, potentially tarnishing Chateau Miraval’s name.
In a counterclaim, Angelina reportedly accused the Ocean’s Eleven star of trying to force her into selling to his Mondo Bongo company on ‘unreasonable terms’, and claimed that he launched a smear campaign on the Stoli boss.
She also alleged that he hid assets and squandered the company’s funds on vanity projects including the swimming pool and a staircase that was rebuilt four times.
