Katrina Gorry reportedly close to WSL move Aussie footballer Katrina Gorry is reportedly close to agreeing a move that would see her join Women’s Super League (WSL) outfit West Ham in January. According to BBC Sport, West Gam are close to signing a deal with the Matildas star after discussions took place during the 2023 World Cup – held in Australia and New Zealand. The Matildas midfielder, who has 103 international caps, is a free agent after departing Swedish side Vittsjo GIK. Mary Earps named BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year 2023 Mary Earps has been voted the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year.  The England and Manchester United goalkeeper won the Golden Glove in August as England reached the World Cup final.
