Venice to back €5 fee for day-trip tourists Venice is expected to approve the trial of a €5 (£4.30) fee for daily visitors, in the hope that the city can control tourism. Thousands feared dead as flooding sweeps Libya Widespread flooding in Libya, following a powerful storm, has killed more than 2,000 people and left thousands missing, according to the leader of the east Libyan government – which is not recognised internationally.
