Scot Peterson not guilty over Parkland school shooting response Former sheriff’s deputy Scot Peterson has been found not guilty of failing to protect students during a school shooting in Florida in 2018.  Peterson chose to stay outside during the attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, near Miami. Presumed human remains found in Titan sub debris The wreck of the Titan submersible has been pulled out of the sea and presumed human remains have been found within the wreckage, according to the US coast guard. The sub imploded on a deep dive to see the wreckage of the Titanic. Five people were killed instantly, including three British nationals. Pieces from the sub were unloaded in St John’s, Canada on Wednesday. The sub’s rear cover and landing frame were among the debris found. Ex-President Donald Trump heard on tape discussing secret documents – US media  American media has obtained an audio recording in which Donald Trump appears to acknowledge keeping secret US documents after leaving the White House. In the recording, the former president – who is running for the presidency in 2024, is heard riffling through papers and saying: “This is highly confidential.” Trump has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of mishandling sensitive files. Titan sub: British teenager took Rubik’s Cube to break record, mother says in BBC interview In a recent interview, the mother of teenager Suleman Dawood, who died on the Titan sub, told the BBC that her son took his Rubik’s cube on the submersible because he wanted to break a world record. Suleman, 19, applied to the Guinness World Records and his father, Shahzada, who also died, took a camera so he could capture the moment.  Christine Dawood and her daughter were on board the Polar Prince when communications were lost with the Titan.
