Do you feel it’s time to upgrade your fast food order?
You’re in luck.
Bringing ‘gourmet’ to fast food, Burger King is launching a special new burger that you can customise.
Called the ‘Smoky Chimichurri’ burger, you can choose for it to either come with beef or crispy chicken. It’s then topped with a chimichurri sauce, herby mayo, garlic and spices for the final flourish.

Promising to be an elevated take on your usual takeout burger, this one is part of the chain’s ‘Gourmet Kings’ range – which launched back in 2021, to offer a more ‘premium’ section on the menu.
You’ll find it exclusively for delivery on Deliveroo from August 1, then from August 14 the burgers will become available on Just Eat and Uber Eats.
It’s also worth pointing out that it doesn’t look like you can get the new addition in Burger King stores directly, so save this for your hungover takeout order.
The news comes after Burger King unveiled a new burger that’s all cheese and no patty – 20 slices to be specific. However, this new cheesy creation is only available in Thailand.
