Thousands march against antisemitism in London
Tens of thousands took to the streets of central London to march against antisemitism.
Organisers of the demonstration estimate 100,000 took part in the first march of its kind since the war in the Middle East began.
Former PM Boris Johnson also attended.
The rally comes amid a rise in hate crime in the capital.
Two people were arrested, including Tommy Robinson – who had been asked to stay away from the march. A man was arrested for making antisemitic comments when crowds were leaving Whitehall.
Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis told the crowd at Parliament Square that British Jews “will not be intimidated” by antisemitism.
He said: “We call for a strengthening of community cohesion and we will forever be proud to champion the finest of British values.”
