Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas has revealed she’s keen for a member of the royal family to take part next year.
And she’s even specified Mike Tindall, as he made history becoming the first royal to head into the jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Mike joined the likes of Matt Hancock and Boy George, and has provided plenty of entertainment from viewers at home, from revealing the hilarious moment he split his trousers in front of his mother-in-law Princess Anne, to showing off his incredible rapping skills.
Now, Shirley wants him on Strictly, which this year has seen the likes of Helen Skelton and Will Mellor.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk at the TV Choice Awards, when asked which celeb she’d like to see in the ballroom next year, she said: ‘It’s got to be somebody from the royal family, and I’ve been watching I’m A Celebrity and I do like Mr Tindall.
‘I think, come on, come on now, that guy. I’ve been looking at his neckline, I want to say to him, “You have a beautiful ballroom posture.”
‘I think we are next.’

Mike is married to the late Queen’s granddaughter Zara Phillips, with the couple now sharing three children: Mia, eight, Lena, four, and Lucas, one.
And while he may be picking up plenty of fans from his stint in the jungle, royal author Angela Levin has accused him of humiliating the royal family by taking part in the series.
‘I think that demeans not just his wife, but his mother in law Princess Anne, and other members of the royal family,’ Levin said.

‘It’s not just a joke.’
She also added that Mike might find himself in hot water with the Prince and Princess of Wales who she said would be ‘very sad and very upset’.
Mike has already appeared on two reality shows, The Jump and Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, back in 2015.

While there have also been claims he did not warn the Royals about his casting, he confirmed to Metro.co.uk he had consulted them.
‘I had a few conversations but they’re between me and them,’ he said.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
