Justin Bieber is releasing new music and going on tour in 2020
CNN reports Justin Bieber will be giving his fans new music, a tour and a docuseries next year, five years on from his last album.
The 25-year-old announced the new projects on Christmas Eve.
“As humans we are imperfect,” Bieber says in a video posted on his YouTube page. “My past, my mistakes, all the things I have been through. I believe that I am right where I’m supposed to be.”
His new single -Yummy- will be released on 3 January.

Songwriter Allee Willis dies
Music-News reports U.S songwriter Allee Willis, who helped pen the theme tune for TV series Friends, has died aged 72.
The musician passed away on Tuesday after suffering cardiac arrest. Her partner, Prudence Fenton, is said to be in “total shock” over the news.
Fenton paid tribute on Instagram, writing: “Rest in Boogie Wonderland” – a reference to the hit the late star wrote for Earth, Wind & Fire. She also penned tracks for artists such as the Pet Shop Boys and The Pointer Sisters.

Cats film considerations pulled by Universal
ScreenRant reports Tom Hooper’s Cats film award considerations have been pulled by Universal.
The film has been out for less than two weeks and reviews for Cats has been appalling.
The film has earned just £15.3 million internationally in its first six days making it likely it’ll be unable to recoup its $100 million budget.

George Michel’s sister found dead on Christmas Day
Sky News reports George Micheal’s sister was found dead at her home on Christmas Day, the third anniversary of the singer’s death.
Melanie Panayiotou, 55, was discovered at her home in Hampstead, London, on the evening of 25 December by her sister.
Her death comes exactly three years after the death of her brother George Micheal who was found dead on Christmas Day 2016 at the age of 53. He died of natural causes.

Donald Trump cut from Home Alone 2 in Canada
BBC News says Canada’s national broadcaster CBC has defended its deleting of a scene featuring Donald Trump from the hit 90s film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
CBC spokesman Chuck Thompson said eight minutes needed to be cut from the film to make room for adverts.
He added the edits were made in 2014 before Trump was elected are was not politically motivated.
Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr tweeted a link to a story on Thursday that called the edit ‘pathetic’.

Green Bay Packers are Kings of the North – Are they heading for the Super Bowl?
WTX News reports the NFC North belongs to the Green Bay Packers and their defence makes them serious Super Bowl contenders this season.
“I think there’s more work to be done, and I think that we can do more work,” cornerback Jaire Alexander said last week. “But Super Bowl – level defence? Pssh, I like to think so, of course.”
The Packers have had quite the transition.
Aaron Rodgers is undoubtedly the most gifted NFL quarterback in NFL history. But he is not the driving force behind the team.
