SUPREME COURT: PARLIAMENT SUSPENSION BATTLE ENTERS ITS SECOND DAY
BBC News says the debate over the legality of suspending parliament will return to the Supreme Court later for a second day. Prime Minister Boris Johnson suspended parliament for five weeks earlier this month. Johnson said he wanted a Queen’s Speech to outline his new policies. However, Corbyn will resist demands to pick a side and opt to stay out of campaigning in a second referendum on a Labour-negotiated Brexit deal. Meaning he will be the neutral face who pledges to carry out whatever the public decides.
