Fans are hoping Seth Rollins won’t be missing any time (Picture: WWE)
Seth Rollins has WWE fans worried by a cryptic post after Raw this week.
The Visionary challenged Austin Theory for the United States Championship in a fantastic main event, but some viewers were concerned after Rollins appeared to land awkwardly and injure his leg.
Footage and reports from fans in the arena showed Rollins being helped backstage, with the referee looking concerned and the X-sign been thrown up to signify a legitimate injury.
It’s not clear if the former world champion is actually hurt or not, given he finished the match and the leg even played into the closing moments.
However, Rollins has sparked speculation it could be genuine after a cryptic tweet the day after the show.
He wrote: ‘Redesign. Rebuild. Reclaim.’
There is every chance the star is simply referring to the fact he fell short in the US Title match and isn’t done with Theory, who hit a low blow – unseen by the referee – to gain an advantage and pick up the win.
Still, fans have flooded the post with messages of concern, particularly with the Royal Rumble – and thus the official start of the Road to WrestleMania – just weeks away.
One fan replied: ‘If injured hope it’s a fast recovery. Come back better champ. You still have ALOT to give the business. Still my top guy.’
Another added: ‘Hope to see you back soon and you continue to be the generational talent that you are. We appreciate you’.
Rollins famously used the slogan ‘Redesign. Rebuild. Reclaim’ after he suffered a torn ACL in November 2015, which saw him ruled out for almost seven months and forced to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
WWE and Rollins are both yet to officially confirm the injury, which still offers some hope with the likes of AJ Styles also ruled out.
WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
