Asuka is still teasing a huge shift in character and style (Picture: WWE)
WWE superstar Asuka has continued to hint at a dramatic new look and character overhaul, and Bray Wyatt could be involved.
Ever since she lost on Raw last week, the Empress of Tomorrow has been sending her social media following wild by teasing a fresh style harking back to her time as Kana in Japan.
Before joining WWE in 2015, the now-41-year-old star made her name under the Kana name as a sinister murderous clown character with a seriously demonic edge.
Now, she’s spent a whole week sharing images from that time in her career, but there could be even more to this twist than meets the eye.
Firstly, over the weekend Asuka shared a fly emoji, which could be a nod in the direction of Bray Wyatt, who has used a drawing of a moth in his logo since his epic return at Extreme Rules in early October.
She then shared the same emoji on Sunday, and added: ‘To Chapter Seven’.
Asuka has since shared more images from her time as Kana, captioning one with a trash can emoji, while alongside another she wrote: ‘As I crawl a cracked and broken path’.
Meanwhile, eagle eyed fans have noticed that there may have been other hints of Wyatt being involved over the past couple of months.

Even before he returned, fans thought he was coming for Alexa Bliss – given their creepy, storied history together – as his moth logo flashed up on screen during backstage interviews.
However, it turns out Asuka was also on screen for those moments, and at Crown Jewel she even reacted to the interruption and started blinking over and over again, even though backstage interviewer Byron Saxton acted as if he hadn’t seen it.
Fans are excited by a potential shift in direction for Asuka, who held the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Alexa Bliss for less than a week before losing them back to Damage CTRL at the beginning of November – while she hasn’t won singles gold in over two years.
‘Kana lives. Asuka dies. No one is ready for Kana,’ wrote one fan, while a second follower tweeted: ‘Goodbye Asuka our beautiful Empress… Hello Kana! it’s nice to see you again. It’s been awhile. I pity those that cross you.’
WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
