Strictly’s moving around in the schedules again (Picture: BBC)
Strictly Come Dancing 2022 is nearing its final, with just five couples remaining in the race for the Glitterball trophy.
So far this season we’ve seen the series pay tribute to the BBC’s 100th anniversary, return to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom for the first time since 2019, and dish up its annual movie and Halloween specials, as well as give us some genuinely sizzling routines.
But it’s been all change in recent weeks after last week’s quarter-final moved out of its regular Saturday night slot, and aired on Friday night instead, with the results show moved to Saturday night.
And it’s missing completely from the schedules this Saturday- so what’s going on, and just when will the semi-final be aired?
Why isn’t Strictly Come Dancing on tonight?
Strictly Come Dancing has had to change its schedule once again this week due to the World Cup.
England are taking on France in the quarter-final of the tournament on Saturday night, with a place in the semi-finals at stake.
Therefore, the weekend’s other important semi-final has moved out of its way, into a Sunday slot.
You can watch live coverage of the game on ITV from 6pm.

The semi-final will air on Sunday night on BBC One at 7.15pm.
The show will see the five remaining couples perform two routines each as they battle it out for a place in the grand final, on Saturday December 17.
The results show will then air on Monday December 12 at 8:15 until 9pm.
