Strictly Come Dancing 2022 has been another stellar year for the hit competition series, with many stand-out moments. Sadly, it must come to an end.
Fans of the show might have felt like the series has only just started, but we’re on a (fox)trot right to the finish line, with the final dances just hours away.
But what time is the Strictly finale, and when will the winner be crowned?
Here’s all you need to know.
What time is the Strictly final?
The Strictly Come Dancing final takes place today (December 17) at 7.05pm on BBC One.
The bumper finale episode is just over two and a half hours long – so make sure you’re sitting comfortably!
The show will also feature a guest performance by Florence and the Machine.

When will the Strictly 2022 winner be announced?
Yes, the winning couple will be announced tonight.
Usually, results are announced on Sunday’s show – but Strictly fans won’t have to wait until then to find out who will be taking home the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
The judge’s scores are now only for guidance, it’s the viewing public that will decide the winner of Strictly 2022.
What are the latest Strictly winner odds?
In the Strictly 2022 final, the four remaining celebrities, Helen Skelton, Hamza Yassin, Fleur East, and Molly Rainford, will all perform three dances in their attempt to secure the glitterball trophy.

However, who is the current favourite to win?
Hamza Yassin (dancing with Jowita Przystał) has been a consistently high scorer and (according to Oddschecker) is the bookies’ favourite to win the competition at 8/15.
Helen Skelton, dancing with Gorka Marquez, is hot on Yassin’s tail with the odds of 9/5 and some stand-out performances in the past.
Molly Rainford, alongside partner Carlos Gu, have odds of 40/1 to claim victory in the competitive dance show, and have twice achieved the highest scores in the past.
So far, Fleur East and partner Vito Coppola are the only couple to have secured the elusive perfect score of 40 from the judges but that doesn’t guarantee them success in the final, with the lowest odds of 66/1.
As to who will prove triumphant? We’ll have to wait till tonight’s show to find out.
The Strictly Come Dancing final airs tonight at 7.05pm on BBC One.
