Victoria Beckham was overcome with emotion after watching David Beckham’s moving new Disney Plus series, Save Our Squad.
The Beckham family -minus Brooklyn – came out to support the former England captain at the Leicester Square premiere of his new series, Save Our Squad, which sees Becks returning to his east London roots hoping save the under-14’s Westward Boys from relegation.
During the London screening last night, the boys and their coach joined their new mentor, while Victoria watched in the audience with the in-laws and three of their four children, Cruz, Romeo and Harper.
Posting on Instagram after the event, Spice Girl Victoria wrote: ‘I couldn’t be prouder tonight of @davidbeckham and his INCREDIBLE @studio99 team.
‘I was totally blown away and emotional this evening watching the screening of #SaveOurSquad. See it on @disneyplus from November 9th xx VB.’
Cruz, 17, added: ‘Wow I’m so proud of you dad I love you so much.’

Speaking to Alex Scott, who hosted a brief Q&A after the screening, Beckham explained why the show was so important to him.
‘I wanted people to see how important grassroots football is. It’s all about community, not only just in East London, but across the UK,’ he said.
‘To be part of a team is to be part of a community.’
Sharing his own post after the event, he called the night an ‘incredibly special evening’ and enthused: ‘Great to see the @westwardboysfc again.’
David Beckham: Save Our Squad will be available to stream on Disney Plus from November 9.
