Sasha Johnson: London BLM activist Johnson was not the target, 4 men being looked for in connection to shooting
London’s BLM activist Sasha Johnson was not the indented shooting victim of Sunday’s attack, police say, despite her friends saying she had been receiving threats.
It appears she was shot by mistake and detectives are investigating whether someone else at the party was the intended target.
Police have said they don’t believe the shooting was in connection to her activism work.

Police search for four men
Police are hunting for four Black men who shot Johnson in the head. Met Commander Alison Heydari said the men had “entered the garden of the property and discharged a firearm”.
Det Ch Insp Richard Leonard, who is leading the investigation, said about 30 guests had been at the party, which was being held in the back garden of the property.
He said the four attackers had been dressed in “dark clothing” and went into the garden “through a side entrance”.
“In the ensuing melee a firearm has been discharged injuring Sasha,” he said.
Det Ch Insp Leonard added: “Our investigation continues to make progress but we need the assistance of the community to find out who was responsible for this horrific attack.”
