THOMAS COOK CUSTOMERS IN SHOCK OVER FLIGHT PRICES
BBC News reports Thomas Cook customers have accused airlines of cashing in on the holiday firmās demise after being faced with high bills to book replacement flights. In some cases, the prices for replacement flights have now tripled. One holidaymaker said a flight from Glasgow to Greece, was Ā£280 on Sunday. But now was Ā£1000. John Stickland, an airline analyst said: āPeople arenāt sitting there rubbing their hands in glee. If sales come in rapidly on popular routes then prices go up.ā

BORIS JOHNSON REFUSES TO RULE OUT SUSPENDING PARLIAMENT AGAIN
The Guardian says the prime minister has refused to rule out suspending parliament again if the supreme court rules today that he abused his powers by doing so earlier this month. He also indicated he would not feel obliged to resign if the justices rule he misled the Queen in his reasons for suspending parliament. Asked if he felt a verdict against him would make his position untenable, he said: āNo. I think the reasons for wanting a Queenās speech are extremely good.ā

GROOMING GANG MEMBERS WHO TARGETED GIRLS AS YOUNG AS 12 IN MANCHESTER PARK JAILED
The Independent says four members of a grooming gang that sexually abused girls as young as 12 in Manchester have been jailed. A court heard that the men met victims in a park and targeted them in the Levenshulme area and using social media between 2016-2018. Others linked to the group have fled abroad and were being sought by police. During sentencing, the judge called their actions āheartless, immortal and illegal.ā She said: āEach of these girls was particularly vulnerable because of their personal circumstances as children in care who had all had difficult childhoods.ā
