BORIS JOHNSON TO SUSPEND PARLIAMENT AGAIN NEXT WEEK AHEAD OF QUEEN’S SPEECH
The Independent says Prime Minister Boris Johnson will seek to suspend parliament again next week. It comes ahead of a new Queen’s Speech in a move that risks infuriating MPs. The Supreme Court ordered MPs to return to work after they ruled the suspension was unlawful. And now, on Tuesday Johnson will ask the Queen to prorogue parliament for several days to allow his to prepare his new legislative programme. The move will allow for a Queen’s Speech to take place on 14 October, ahead of the critical EU summit on 17-18 October.

PRINCE HARRY ‘REFUSED TO WARN CHARLES AND WILLS’ ABOUT PRESS RANT OVER MEGHAN
The Sun says Prince Harry went “rogue” in his fight with the Press. It has been claimed that senior royals were not warned about his extraordinary rant. And he apparently refused to consult dad Charles and brother William. It has been said they were only “informed” as his outburst was published. The 25-year-old prince wrote it himself with no guidance from the Palace or his team of advisers. And it is believed the Queen was not consulted – although Harry’s communications secretary insists HM was informed. The Sun says the royal couple were aiming for ‘maximum impact’ after critics questioned the timing of the rant.

JOHNSON’S BREXIT PLAN ‘NEITHER CREDIBLE NOR WORKABLE,’ SAYS LABOUR
The Guardian says Labour has described Boris Johnson’s Brexit proposals as “neither credible nor workable” and claims his real plan is to force a no-deal Brexit. Shadow chancellor, John McDonnell said: “Any responsible prime minister would have spent the past three months trying to build a consensus in parliament and across the European Union in order to break the deadlock. However, Boris Johnson has neither the intention nor ability to negotiate a deal or protect jobs and communities across the United Kingdom.” He added he thought Johnson’s plans were “a cynical attempt to force through a no-deal Brexit.” Opposition parties were united in rejecting the PM’s proposal for a deal.
