BREXIT: NO-DEAL DOCUMENT PUBLISHED
BBC News says a government document has said if the UK leaves without a deal, the country is at risk of riots, food price rises and reduced medical supplies. The Yellowhammer contingency plan has been published after MPs voted to force Ministers to reveal the plan. It outlines a series of “reasonable worst-case assumptions” for the impact of a no-deal Brexit on 31 October. Corbyn has said the document confirmed the PM “is prepared to punish those who can least afford it.” But, Michael Gove, who’s responsible for no-deal planning, said “revised assumptions” will be published “in due course alongside a document outlining the mitigations the government has put in place and intends to put in place.”

EDGWARE ROAD STABBING: TEEN WAS A BUSINESS STUDENT WHO DEFENDED A GIRL FROM A GANG OF BOYS JUST HALF-HOUR BEFORE THE ATTACK
The Daily Mail reports an update on the Edgware Road stabbing. The teen stabbed to death has been named as Youssef Karim Hasin Al-Bayjani. The 17-year-old was attacked by a gang in broad daylight and is the 7th person to be murdered in London in just 9 days. The sixth-form student was studying business at the City of Westminister College and had plans to go to university. He was set upon on the pavement outside KFC. Just half-hour before he had defended a girl from a gang of boys. His friend said ‘He had a really good heart. On the day some boys were trying to mess with me, he stopped them and that was just half-hour before it happened.’

CAMERON AND MAY MUST BE CALLED TO ANSWER FOR GRENFELL
The Independent reports Theresa May and David Cameron should be called before the inquiry into the Grenfell disaster to account for missed opportunities to prevent it. Labour councillors in Kensington and Chelsea made the call as part of a move to hold central and local governments to account for their “action or inaction” before and after Grenfell. The disaster killed 72 people in June 2017. They believe former PM’s David Cameron and Theresa May should be interrogated about “why they failed to take meaningful actions” that could have prevented the fire.
