BREXIT: PM TO PUSH FOR ELECTION IF EU OFFERS LONGER DELAY
BBC News reports the PM will push for a general election if the EU proposes to delay Brexit, No 10 has indicated Boris Johnson “paused” his Brexit bill on Tuesday after MPs rejected his plan to get it signed off in three days.
EU leaders are considering whether to grant a delay to the 31 October deadline and what length it would be. The PM was forced by law to send a letter to the bloc after failing to secure backing for his deal. The letter asks for a three-month extension. But a Downing Street source suggested Boris would not accept such a lengthy extension.

MANCHESTER ARENA BOMBER’S BROTHER DENIES MURDER OF 22 VICTIMS
The Independent says the brother of the Manchester Arena bomber has denied conspiring to murder the 22 victims of the attack. Hashem Abedi entered not guilty pleas for each of his charges on Tuesday, which included 22 counts of murder.
His brother, Salman Abedi, detonated a suicide vest at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena in 2017 – killing 22 and injuring 260 more. Hashem Adebi travelled to Libya before the attack. He was arrested in Tripoli and extradited back to the UK in July this year.

MEGHAN MARKLE LOOKS STUNNING IN FIRST APPEARANCE SINCE ITV DOC
The Sun says, Meghan Markle stunned in purple during her first public appearance since the explosive ITV documentary. The Duchess of Sussex turned heads as she attended the One Young World summit at the Royal Albert Hall in London. During the doc, the couple talked openly about their struggles with fame – comments that have reportedly “worried” senior royals.
But Meghan was all smiles at the glitzy event in the capital. Meghan is a “long-standing supporter” of the One Young World organisation. At the gathering, she addressed young leaders on the importance of women’s rights and the role men play in achieving equality.
