Twitter takeover: Elon Musk dissolves board of directors
Billionaire and new boss of Twitter Elon Musk has dissolved the company’s board of directors – cementing his control over the platform.
Musk will be its chief executive after buying the company last week, ending months of back and forth over the $44bn takeover.
He is planning reforms that include changes for how Twitter verifies accounts as well as reported job cuts.
Top bosses at Twitter have already been fired and the world’s richest man has bought in high-profile allies to the company.
He is now the chief executive of three companies – Tesla, Space X and now Twitter.
