Daily Mirror – TV legend tragedy: Our Best Friend 

The Daily Mirror writes that the world of showbiz has been paying tributes to Matthew Perry. The paper says he was found dead in a hot tub at his LA home. 

The front page features the last known public photograph taken of Perry – just days before his death. 

The paper leaves room to report on two other stories. The first covers the ongoing Middle East crisis and says there are fears for 1000s of people at a hospital in Gaza after patients were ordered to leave by Israel but doctors said they have nowhere to transfer the patients to. 

There is also the story of Liverpool footballer Luis Diaz – whose parents were kidnapped in Colombia. His mother has been released but his father is still being held captive.
